Over the past twelve years I have been living and breathing psychology, technology and design, in the form of user experience consulting.
2013 to Now
I'm the co-founder and director of Cognitive Ink, a specialist design thinking consultancy and I've worked with some of the most innovative companies in Australia, from large corporates down to small tech start ups.
2011 - 2013
While freelancing, I worked on a wide range of projects.
2010 - 2013
I co-founded Demibooks Inc, a mobile application development startup that created the world's first iPad based interactive book authoring tool.
2011 - 2011
I was part of some of Australia’s first attempts to understand how to develop a new business model for online news media.
2010 - 2010
I got to work with some of the most creative design talent at one of the most inspiring design-for-good companies in Australia, Digital Eskimo.
2005 - 2010
I was lucky enough to work with some of the first usability, user experience and design thinkers in Australia at PTG Global. PTG Global was a leading Australian business technology consultancy that specialised in strategic planning, business process improvement, user experience, user interface design and application development.
I hold a Master of Science (Honours) degree in psychology from the University of Canterbury (New Zealand), as well as a postgraduate certification in cognitive ergonomics and human factors from the University of Queensland (Australia).
